The crew at Rossmönster were amazing and while the move-in was successful, it was a very chaotic time.
We rented an AirBnB just a few minutes away from Rossmönster and upon arrival on Thursday, moved all of our boxes in from the U-haul, returned the trailer and hit a grocery. So we were ready to go on Friday for our 9:30am pickup.

This is probably the cleanest the RV will ever be.
After the walk-through, the Rossmönster team had a few small items to address for us, such as adding L-track for dog tethers, so we weren’t able to get it until a bit later in the day.
We were excited to get rolling with the organization and we knew it would take quite a while, so we picked it up as quickly as we were able, drove it back to the rental house and parked it out back. We ended up sleeping in it every night except that first Friday night.

And as if that all wasn’t exciting enough, I took my first dose of my new Crohn’s medication in the midst of this, which meat we drove the RV to a nearby Emergency Room parking lot for me to self-administer the injections…just in case there was a serious reaction. But it was all good.
I also re-aggregated an old shoulder injury during our walk-through, so many of the heavy lifting or overhead tasks had to be handled by Rich.
But all’s well that ends well, because here we are filling up the freshwater tank on our way out of town! Onward!
